Clemencia graduated as a Psychologist from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Bogota- Colombia in 1982. She earned her Masters in Clinical Psychology-Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Clemencia has an extensive training and experience as a Gottman Method Couples Therapist. Her areas of expertise include but are not limited to couples conflict resolution, communication, and infidelity recovery.

Besides being in private practice for several years, Clemencia�s concurrent experience include working for Youth Consultation Service assisting children and families as a family therapist and clinician for children in foster care. Clemencia is a highly engaging, compassionate, cultural competent therapist. Her clinical approach is the unconditional positive regard for her client. That Client Centered approach ensures clients� high rates of healing and recovery. Clemencia speaks and conducts treatment in English and Spanish.
